We are now accepting applications for our HYPE Team! The Emporia Main Street Hype Team is composed of community members who share a passion for the progress happening in Emporia and the Region and have a desire to promote it. Hype Team members serve as ambassadors during large events held in downtown Emporia. Hype Team members work as a united front to welcome visitors downtown, answer questions visitors may have, and encourage people to #ExploreEmporia!

Jessica Buchholz is the Community Development Coordinator for Emporia Main Street in Emporia, Kansas. She specializes in event planning, volunteer recruitment, alternative marketing, media/public relations and fundraising. During Jessica's tenure at Emporia Main Street, she has helped grow events to an international level and she has created a series of new activities to meet organizational goals.
