Security for Child Visitation & Exchange Center Job – Emporia, KS

SOS, Inc CVEC Department is seeking to hire immediately for the part-time Security position. The Child Visitation and Exchange Center Security is to ensure a reasonable degree of safety and security of clients and staff. Prefer certification in accredited law enforcement program and/or experience in law enforcement. Knowledge of child abuse and neglect and how this affects child development and growth. An understanding of the dynamics of separation and divorce. Understanding of the law regarding separation, divorce, custody, and child welfare. Knowledge of sexual and domestic violence. Must have the ability to receive, interpret and follow verbal and written instruction. Required to read, write, and speak English fluently. The ability to speak Spanish is beneficial but not required.

Assist with client arrival and departure process by ensuring all clients follow the arrival/departure procedures

Utilize all CVEC safety devices when required (security cameras/video monitor, security software system, metal detector wand, panic alarms, portable breathalyzers)
