We are excited to announce that the 2024 Apella Weekend will be held on September 20th and 21st! After much discussion, it has been decided that moving forward, Apella – The Emporia High School Reunion will be held during the 3rd weekend in September. While we know this will not always fall on EHS Homecoming, we thought it would streamline planning for classes and attendees.

There are still lots of plans to be made for the weekend- and we are looking for volunteers to sit on the Apella planning committee. If you are interested, please email Jess at Emporia Main Street at [email protected].

Jessica Buchholz is the Community Development Coordinator for Emporia Main Street in Emporia, Kansas. She specializes in event planning, volunteer recruitment, alternative marketing, media/public relations and fundraising. During Jessica's tenure at Emporia Main Street, she has helped grow events to an international level and she has created a series of new activities to meet organizational goals.
