The Emporia Airport will host the annual Wings and Wheels Show on Sept. 23, 2023 beginning at 8:00 AM. Admission to the event is free!

An airplane and car static display will be provided by Flatland Cruisers and Emporia Flying Club. An air ambulance helicopter will be on display from Air Methods.

Breakfast is provided by the Area Experimental Aircraft Association. Fly-ins will enjoy a free breakfast. Adult breakfast is $6.00 and children 3-12 are $3.00.

Ages 8-17 will receive free airplane rides by Young Eagle Airplane. Pre-register for rides at yeday.org/EmporiaEvent.

Jessica Buchholz is the Community Development Coordinator for Emporia Main Street in Emporia, Kansas. She specializes in event planning, volunteer recruitment, alternative marketing, media/public relations and fundraising.
