A New Business in Downtown Emporia is Now Open as One-Stop Shop for Tech Related Needs.

Looking to repair that cracked screen, need assistance with data recovery on a device, or have a pesky appliance that needs tending to? Head down to iDeviceHQ at 417 Commercial Street for support.

iDeviceHQ officially opened its doors in January 2024, and offers a wide range of tech services to meet the needs of our community. Services include phone and computer repairs, data recovery, PC building, and appliance repairs. They also provide custom computer building services for all budgets and even teach people how to build their own computers.

Owner and native Emporian, Nathan Jobe, has been interested in the tech industry from a young age which ultimately led him to pursue a career in electronics repair and customer service.

“I’ve honed my skills in repairing a wide range of devices, from smartphones and tablets to laptops and gaming consoles” said Jobe. “My professional journey has also included customizing electronics and modding game consoles to enhance their performance and functionality. Combining my technical skills with a genuine desire to help people, I set out to make iDeviceHQ a go-to spot for all things tech. We build custom computers for all budgets and all users whether you’re a beginner or advanced user. We also offer consulting with our customers on devices whether they want to know how each device works and what would best suit them.  It’s all about providing high-quality, trustworthy service and making a positive impact in our community.”

Gaming repair and customization is another component of the business that customers can utilize.

“Our expertise extends to modding game consoles to enhance their performance and functionality,” explains Jobe. “We also specialize in creating and building custom video game consoles and dealing with technology both new and retro, including retro video games.”

Having a location in downtown Emporia was very important to Jobe.

“I’m thrilled to start a business in downtown Emporia because it’s the heart of our community. The vibrant energy and close-knit atmosphere make it the perfect place to launch iDeviceHQ,” said Jobe. “Emporia is undergoing a tech transformation, and I’m excited to contribute to this growth by providing essential tech services and innovative solutions. Being in the downtown area allows us to be easily accessible to everyone, and we look forward to becoming a central part of this dynamic and supportive community.”

Emporia Main Street Director, Casey Woods, acknowledges the need for this type of business in Emporia.

“We know there is a growing demand for tech support services in both the community and the region,” said Woods. “We know that iDeviceHQ will be able to offer a niche skill set to customers locally and in surrounding rural areas.”

iDeviceHQ is located at 417 Commercial Street in Suite 5. They are open Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and can be reached by phone at 785-517-2409 or at idevicehq.online or on Facebook at @IdeviceHQ.
