white ribbon sign

Newman Regional Health and Emporia Main Street announce the community’s third annual White Ribbon Campaign scheduled during National EMS Week, May 15 – 21, 2022. The White Ribbon Campaign is a time to join in celebrating and honoring the lifesaving teamwork of dispatchers, EMTs, paramedics, firefighters, and all Emergency Medical Services (EMS) professionals in the area during National EMS Week.

The white ribbon signifies the important contributions of EMS practitioners in safeguarding the health, safety, and well-being of our community. Emporia Main Street has partnered again with local business, Printing Plus, to offer community members an opportunity to purchase a white ribbon sign to display at their homes or businesses to recognize and celebrate EMS professionals.

Signs are printed in color on both sides and come with a yard stake. There will be a limited number of signs available at the Emporia Main Street office (727 Commercial Street) to purchase the week of May 9th.

For more information on the program or help with purchasing a sign, please contact Emporia Main Street at 620-340-6430.
