The Axe Shedd Expands with Simple Simon’s Pizza

Emporia, KS – January 27, 2025 – The Axe Shedd, a popular downtown Emporia destination known for its exciting axe-throwing experience, is thrilled to announce its expansion into the food scene with the addition of Simple Simon’s Pizza. This new offering will include a variety of delicious options such as pizzas, calzones, stromboli, subs, and wings, providing the community with even more reasons to visit.
To celebrate this exciting new venture, The Axe Shedd will host a Grand Opening event on Wednesday, Feb 5th, from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1:00 PM hosted by Emporia Main Street. Guests can look forward to the following grand opening specials:
• Free tastings inside the store from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM to sample the delicious new menu items.
• Axe throwing for only $10 plus tax per person all day for an hour of fun.
• Buy two single-topping pizzas and get a third one free, each priced at just $9.99 plus tax.
Owner Calebhh Shedd expressed enthusiasm for the expansion, saying, “We believe that adding food to our already successful business will help grow our brand. By combining dining and entertainment, we’re creating unique options for date nights, group parties, and community gatherings. We’re excited to provide an unforgettable experience for groups as small as two people and as large as 90.”
The Axe Shedd’s new dining options will also include:
• Late-night pizza slices available on Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 PM to 3:00 AM, perfect for night owls and downtown visitors.
• Flexible service options such as dine-in, carry-out, and delivery through third-party services.
In addition, The Axe Shedd will offer ongoing specials that pair food with axe throwing, making it a premier destination for fun and dining in downtown Emporia.
