Each year Emporia Main Street works with members of the Freedom Fest committee to send care packages overseas to our service men and women. If we have a local unit deployed, we will send items to these soldiers. If this is not an option we reach out to individuals from Kansas. You may drop off items at 727 Commercial Street through December 1st. We like to send packages before Christmas. You are also welcome to make a financial contribution that helps purchase items from local businesses and pay for shipping.
