Newman Regional Health and Emporia Main Street invite you to our White Ribbon Campaign May 17th - 23rd. The White Ribbon Campaign is a time to join in celebrating and honoring the lifesaving teamwork of dispatchers, EMT’s, paramedics, firefighters, and all Emergency Medical Services professionals in the area during EMS Week as well as all other frontline workers.

How to Participate

Please display a white ribbon outside your home or place of business. Place a white ribbon image in your front window, on your front door, or tie a white ribbon around your tree or mailbox – to show support for the healthcare workers and first responders who continue to fight this pandemic and are working to keep you safe!

We are working with a local business, Plum Bazaar, to offer you an opportunity to purchase a white ribbon for display. Ribbons are $10 and proceeds will go to the Greater Emporia Area Disaster Relief Fund. Click HERE to purchase your ribbon.  Ribbons can be ordered online and picked up at our office (727 Commercial Street). Ribbons are made with 4 yards of material and tied with an 18 inch wire. There are two 8 inch ends on the back for adhering your bow to a fixture. The first day ribbons will be available will be May 15th.

You are also welcome to be creative and make your own bow for display.

We also have a ribbon image you can download and print off to display: Click  Here

Please take a picture of your white ribbons and tag Emporia Main Street and use the hashtag #YouProtectWeRespect on Facebook and Instagram. We will enter all posts into a drawing and pick five winners for a $20 Main Street gift certificate.
