Downtown Clean Up Scheduled 6/18/20

Looking for a great way to volunteer and still social distance? We need your help with cleaning up the downtown area! Please join us in trimming trees, picking up trash, and cleaning out garden plots. We have latex gloves, trash grabbers, and trash bags. We encourage you to bring your old plastic shopping bags to gather trash too. Please wear comfy clothes and bring water. We will ask volunteers to meet out front of 727 Commercial at 9 am. We will direct groups where to go.

Jessica Buchholz is the Community Development Coordinator for Emporia Main Street in Emporia, Kansas. She specializes in event planning, volunteer recruitment, alternative marketing, media/public relations and fundraising. During Jessica's tenure at Emporia Main Street, she has helped grow events to an international level and she has created a series of new activities to meet organizational goals.
