Hispanics of Today and Tomorrow are excited to invite you and your family to the first annual Dia De Los Muertos Celebration in down town Emporia on Saturday, October 27th. This event is a partnership between Hispanics of Today & Tomorrow, Emporia Main Street, The Emporia Granada Theatre, Kansas Free For Arts, The Emporia Migrant Education Program, and Mobilizing Literacy for Lyon County.
10am: Parade of the Living Dead (begins at 7th and Commercial and ends at 11th and Commercial)
10:30am-1pm: Emporia Main Street’s Down Town Trick or Treating
noon-7pm: Celebration on 7th Ave (between Comm. & Merchant)
Including, food, music, face painting, Frida look alike contest, skull decorating, crafts, and much more!
1pm: Free screening of Coco at the Granada Theatre (tickets available on October 18th)
