Curbside Assistance to Businesses

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, individuals have been advised to stay away from certain business types.  Restaurants, bars, retailers, and entertainment venues have been hit particularly hard by a sharp and unanticipated drop in traffic and sales.  Curb side pick-up is an option that some restaurants and retailers are using to encourage product sales and promote some cash flow during the pandemic.  Emporia Main Street in conjunction with the City of Emporia would like to offer the use of one to two parking spots in front of participating businesses that are dedicated to curbside pickup of products during the pandemic.  Businesses would be required to clearly mark the stalls as a curb side pickup location, and they would need to fill out appropriate paperwork to allow participation in this activity.  Paperwork fields include:
